To encourage education among children in underserved areas, we hosted a Spelling Bee competition in Makoko, Lagos, on the 26th of May, 2022. Our goal is to encourage the children to give their best at school and also to encourage the children who do not believe education is rewarding to get an education.
The winners of our Spelling Bee competition, Ogbonna Ebube, Adam Noah, and Dele Ogooluwa, took the first, second, and third positions, respectively received School Bag, Lunch Pack, Water bottle, Pencil Case, Exercise Books, and Mathematical Set. However, the first runner-up got an additional gift of a Lunch Box, and the winner got an additional gift of an Educational Tab and Lunch Box.
We recognized and gave awards to the most diligent and patient teachers, appreciating their ceaseless effort in safeguarding and nurturing Africa's future.
This was our maiden edition, and we are looking to host more in schools in underserved communities.
